REVIEW: Crockett Creek Beef Jerky
If your idea of some good beef jerky is a Slim Jim from QT, you might just slam your hand in a car door when you get done reading this story. After living on planet Earth for over half a century, rarely am I surprised; nor do I have my mind changed the way that Crockett Creek Beef Jerky changed my mind.
I always though that beef jerky was either tough and dry, or it was nasty like a convenience store Slim Jim. The only exception to that was about twenty years ago I had an Emory doctor who would go deer hunting every fall and come back with venison jerky. He would give me a gallon Ziploc bag of venison jerky and I couldn’t get enough of it.
I got an email from Crockett Creek Beef Jerky asking if I would like a few samples. When they arrived, I tried the Original flavor and fell in love. Not only is this beef jerky soft, tender and full of flavor; its moist and not like dried out shoe leather that you might be used to. That night, I tried the other bad of BBQ flavor. Its got a little kick to it, but for most people you should be fine. I loved it and went online to order more. I really wanted to try the Elk and Venison. I’ll post again when I get that delivered.
The nice folks at Crockett Creek Beef Jerky gave me a coupon code to share. I tried it on my order, so I know it really works. The coupon code is JerkyB25 and it’ll give you 25% off of your order. Guten appetit!
