Atlanta Food Critic Announces Support for Sip & Swine BBQ Festival, Mar 4-5 2016 at Coolray Field, Lawrenceville
Atlanta Food Critic has announced that Melanie and Randy Cooper will be attending the Sip & Swine BBQ Festival to be held March 4th (3-10pm) through March 5, 2016 (11-6pm) at the Coolray Field in Lawrenceville GA.
“Anyone who has been following us, knows of our love for great BBQ.”, said Atlanta Food Critic publisher Randy Cooper, “As members of the Kansas City Barbeque Society, we are excited to see the vast number of teams competing and cannot wait to get a hold of some awesome barbecue”.

The first Annual “Sip & Swine” BBQ Competition is a fully sanctioned national event with the Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS). It will feature two days of Barbeque competition within a large competitor and vendor village located in the parking facilities of Coolray Field. Frazier’s Harley Davidson will be hosting the Bike Show fun with a Bike Cruise and The Jumpstart!There will be numerous options for food and refreshments, live music performances, and will provide an overall family friendly, casual and fun atmosphere.
Competition categories include Chicken, Pork Ribs, Pork, and Beef Brisket. The Backyard teams will compete in all categories barring Beef Brisket. Only the Professional Teams, who are competing in all of the barbecue categories, are eligible for Grand Champion or Reserve Grand champion awards. Saturday, March 5th from 11:30-1:30pm, we’ll hold the People’s Choice competition. The People’s Choice competition is judged by YOU (festival goers who purchase a People’s Choice Award Taster Kit [$10]).
