REVIEW: Kyoto Japanese Hibachi & Sushi, Loganville GA

IMG_0703Kyoto has been one of our favorite places to eat for a while now. The food is always great. The service is spectacular and the owners have been so kind to us over the years we have been going there.

The cooks are entertaining and we’ve come to know a few of them pretty well. The wait staff knows what we want to drink and is ready for our food order every time we show up.

Melanie and I always get the same thing – shrimp hibachi and fried rice. Melanie likes two soups while I go with soup and salad and the ginger dressing. I prefer my rice without the added bacon (one of the nice additions that separate this hibachi from most). The cooks are also accommodating when it comes to adding a little Sriracha sauce to bring some heat to my rice.

The portion sizes are ample and I try to eat half for dinner and save half for the next day’s lunch. It works out well. If you’re looking for a nice place for hibachi, it’s tough to beat Kyoto. Guten appetit.
