Atlanta Restaurant Reviews

Guthrie’s, Peachtree Corners, Norcross, GA

As I’ve stated on previous posts, I seldom get out of the office for lunch but it seems that on Friday one co-worker or another has been dragging me away from my computer for at least a half an hour to let me know there is life outside of work Monday through Friday. To those folks, I say THANK YOU!

Which brings us to Guthrie’s on a chilly Friday afternoon. I’d never been to a  Guthrie’s before and didn’t quite know what to expect but my compatriot is a regular and swore by the place so I figured I’d give it a shot. I ordered the Chicken Tenders (their signature meal) with fries.

The Texas Toast is quite good. The fries, although not homemade, are some of the best bag fries I’ve eaten. The chicken tenders were small but there were enough that it made a decent meal. The chicken was a little dry but the sauce made up for any imperfection there. The cole slaw was actually pretty good and exceeded my expectations.

All in all, not a bad quick lunch can be had at Guthrie’s and I think it’s a good bet when you’re in Norcross. Guten Appetit!
