Congratulations to Chef Anthony Maschi, Winner October 2010 Culinary Fight Night®
Culinary Fight Night® partners with Fuzebox, Inc. and welcomes Chef Anthony Maschi to its championship family
Atlanta, Georgia—October 31, 2010— Culinary Fight Night® decided to take their monthly event to the next level by partnering with Fuzebox, Inc., www.fuxeboxinc.com, a local digital distribution company with a network of one billion users. Fuzebox Inc. and their associates came on board this month in order to begin the process of making CFN’s image and message a complete package then distribute it nationally and globally.
Chef Anthony Maschi and his team scored a huge win at Culinary Fight Night® October on 10/31/10. The event took place at Luckie Food Lounge, conveniently located in the heart of downtown directly across the street from the Georgia Aquarium. Chef Anthony moved to Atlanta to explore the vast food and culinary world the city has to offer. Immediately, he knew that hotels were where he wanted to continue learning after graduating from the Culinary Institute of America in early 2010. Chef Maschi currently holds a position at the Hilton Atlanta Towers downtown.
The secret ingredients for this installment included Bud Light, eggplant, and sardines. Chef Maschi’s winning menu consisted of Grilled Squid (eggplant, sardines), "Drunken Chicken" with cabbage and Jasmine rice (Bud Light), and chocolate cake with a Thai-bird chili ginger crème anglaise (eggplant).
The benefactor for October was The Ludacris Foundation, www.TheLudacrisFoundation.org, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, founded in 2001 by multi-platinum selling, Grammy award winning artist and actor,
Chris "Ludacris" Bridges. The Ludacris Foundation inspires youth, through education and memorable experiences, to live their dreams by uplifting families, communities, and fostering economic development.
Via www.culinaryfightnight.com, guests are asked to RSVP, purchase their ticket, and then vote for their favorite chef, cooking style, and 3 secret ingredients. The 2 chefs, cooking style, and 3 ingredients with the most votes will take to the kitchen to fight it out. The chefs will cook a 3 course meal for a panel of celebrity judges and the audience.
Sponsors for this months installment included Fuzebox Inc., Luckie Food Lounge, TC Publishing and Consulting Group, Conjure Cognac, VioDoug Solutions and The Klein Group, Inc. with a special Thank You to Atlanta’s Mayor Kasim Reed, Chef Ginny McCormack and Tommy Ford from "Martin".
