Atlanta Restaurant Reviews

Gordon Biersch, Midtown, Atlanta GA

We had some friends in town and we had seen this restaurant advertised in the program at the Alliance Theatre when we attended a show this past week. We’d really wanted to try it that night, but alas, the show let out late and it was a “school night”. I looked forward to this visit with great anticipation.

Although a microbrewery is on-site, one should not find it necessary to imbibe in order to enjoy everything that this restaurant has to offer. We had a large party and the variety was a varied as our guests. I had the Southwestern Chicken sandwich, Melanie ordered a custom pizza (alfredo sauce with chicken and spinach) and out guests enjoyed everything from the flat iron steak to the crabmeat quiche (from the brunch menu).

My Southwestern chicken was just as I like it – hot & spicy! I asked for my chicken grilled and blackened. It was accompanied by garlic fries which were quite tasty although beware of the lingering aftertaste.

Melanie loved her pizza and there was plenty to share among the table. Our guests enjoyed their meals and our server was of constant assistance with anything we needed.

Therefore, we must recommend Gordon Biersch as a MUST TRY in your Atlanta dining experience travels. Guten appetit!

*NOTE: My apologies for the lack of photographs on this review but we were entertaining our guests and did not want to detract from their dining experience.
