When we arrived, I had in my mind AT LEAST a half hour wait. To my surprise, we were seated right away. The dining room was COLD! Ladies may IMAG0282want to bring a sweater. Our server met us promptly and brought drinks right away. Our appetizer, the spinach and artichoke dip, followed quickly thereafter, although the chips were paper thin and we really didn’t care for them. The rolls came about the same time – WARNING – these are addictive and even if you aren’t a bread lover. They remind me of mini muffins…. and still warm, fresh out of the oven. YUMMY!

IMAG0280Melanie had the smoked chicken (word has it for 14 hours!) and she claims it was AWESOME! I ordered the Pork Platter and was neutral on it. The taste was fine but the texture of the meat was not to my liking and there was a lot of fat (which IMHO shouldn’t be in pulled pork). The potato salad tasted fine but was served looking like it had come out of an ice cream scooper and gave me some horrific flashbacks of high school lunch trays. The baked beans tasted good as well but, they were a little IMAG0281soupy.

In the past, we have gone to the Conyers location and this was our first time to the Suwanee restaurant . If you’re near here, it’ll do. But if you have the choice, you might want to try Conyers instead.
