Jersey Mike’s, Loganville GA

IMAG0303

It’d been a long day and it was a late Sunday night. We’d been to church all morning, on the road most of the afternoon and home for some computing time in the evening. Quite frankly, we’d forgotten about dinner until it was far after dinner time.

Every once in a while I get a craving for a hot pastrami sandwich. I knew just the place! Jersey Mike’s was formerly located in a horrible location in Grayson – just behind the Taco Bell and on the other side of the street from the Kroger. Unless you KNEW it was there, you’d never find it. I knew they moved but I hadn’t been to their new location yet. I knew the shopping center it was located in but still had a tough time finding it. Look at the picture above and you’ll see why. The signage wasn’t lit. I’m not even sure if it has internal lighting but if it doesn’t – it should!

I ordered the hot pastrami with sauerkraut and Melanie ordered a Philly cheesesteak. We both loved it and the folks were just as nice as could be. We wish them much success in their new location!

I received 2 coupons for free subs from a grand opening at Aarons in Loganville and have been searching for this place ever since. Hopefully I will finally find it today.

It’s even harder to find in the dark! It’s almost right next to Five Guys (near Best Buy).

I went there almost closing time on a Wednesday night after church and the service was as bad as the food. The sandwiches was a philly and a meatball. The food was just thrown on the bread and went we opened it up the ingrediants were running off the bread it was a horrible mess on both sandwiches. The normally prepare the food in front of you and ask you what you want on it but she brought them out already wrapped up from the back. I did not even see where she was cooking the meat. I complained with the manager Latoya and she told me to come back and she would replace them she was very nice and knew who the workers were by discription and kept saying Oh no Oh no, like she has had this probelems with this worker before. I get down there a few days later and the manager Latoya tells me that she has spoken to her boss Freddie Acosta and he told her only to replace reg and not the giant ones that we paid for. I eat at least once and sometimes twice a week at Jersey Mikes in Snellville and love them, could not say enough good things about them but the store in Loganville not only do they have bad service the store was not the cleanest. I was told by the manager her boss Freddie runs no only that store but the one in Suwanee and Duluth. They just lost me as a customer over a sandwich.

We don’t go there at all anymore. I like Firehouse Subs in Snellville but our new once-a-week fav is Which Wich at The Avenue Webb Gine House. I could die for that Crab Salad sandwich! Thanks for the post!
