Firehouse Subs, Snellville, GA

I normally have a pretty hard time talking Mel into getting a sub – ANYWHERE! For me, I love ‘em – I’ll eat at Blimpie, Subway and my favorite of late… Jersey Mike’s BUT – I got bad news for Jersey Mike’s… Firehouse Subs is the absolute BOMB!

I had the #3 Combo which is a corned beef brisket and pastrami sandwich served HOT with mustard, mayo and Italian dressing. From the first bite – I was in sub heaven.

We thought the whole concept is cool. The tables have a dalmation print, the colors are all done in red, black and white complete with all kinds of firehouse related objects.

I’d heard that Firehouse Subs was good but MAN – this stuff is really, really good. Mel loved them because in addition to great food they also served Coke products (I think you should also try the cherry-limeaid, REALLY GOOD).

The only thing bad about this restaurant is the location. Located just across from the Target in Snellville, it is slightly around the corner of a strip mall facing Scenic Highway. You’d really have to look in order to see it from Hwy 124. Now, I can’t wait till we can get one in Loganville!

Oh yes, this Firehouse Subs is really great. Try their Italian sub next time. Their soft drinks are especially good too. Puts other sub places to shame. Their service is excellent also. Kids get a plastic fireman’s hat.

There is a new Subway shop across 124 now, it’s in the shopping center with Office Depot.
