Atlanta Restaurant Reviews

Bugaboo Creek, Duluth, GA

We visit this restaurant 3-4 times a year. This evening we had coupons which which received via email – it was a two for $20 deal that included an appetizer.

Albeit the appetizer was a small sampler, it included four mozzarella sticks, a buffalo wing and legt, four chicken strips. Tasty and adequate for two.

Both Mel and I added salads onto the meal and they were perfectly satisfactory. The steaks however… mine was fine (medium) but Mel’s (medium well) was just plain burned. I will says that the server offered to replace it or remove it from the bill and they did make it right.

If you haven’t been to Bugaboo’s, it’s decor is reminiscent of a Canadian cabin in the woods. It’s heavily decorated with  stuffed animals complete with animatronics and children (and adults) are amused.

The service is always spectacular (although our server this evening was overwhelmed with too many tables for him) but the food quality is always a little sketchy so it pays to be critical.

In terms of value, it fares well with most mid-grade sit-down restaurants. Not bad but nothing to write home about either.
