Locos Grill & Pub, Winder GA
We were headed on our way out of town for the weekend and decided to stop at Locos for a quick meal before we hit the highway. It’d been since last summer that we’d dined here so we figured it was time to give them a shot.
After a brief wait for the lunch rush, I ordered the wings (hot, of course) and Melanie has hers teriyaki. The food did not take long to arrive and was really good. The wings weren’t as hot as hot should be so next time I know to ask for them to make it a little hotter. We both agreed though that the pieces of chicken were large and meaty. We felt that Locos provided a good bang for the buck and the service was great.
The restaurant is located in one of the towns older buildings right across the street from the historic courthouse and just a stone’s throw from the old train depot. This gives the restaurant an old time charm though they really haven’t been in the building too terribly long.
If you happen to be in Winder, give Locos a shot!
